se strut bar

Post by unclebubbaSE »

Is there any kind of aftermarket strut anti-sway bar available for the 2004 SE?. I've been searching forever, closest I've found is an inexpensive gm strut bar, but it was for a W body. I'm trying to tighten up my suspension as much as possible...neoprene swaybar link kits, kyb struts, etc. Would a strut bar from a gxp fit?.

Thanks for any info/feedback!.

Strut tower brace will be a waste of money for the most part. If you want something you can feel upgrade to an FE2 front and rear sway bar or even better FE5 if you can find them. The SE doesn't even have a rear bar and the front is FE1 floaty granny soft.

Thanks....FE2 I'm assuming is from an SSEi?, is there any specific model years that i would have to look for, and will there be 'points' at the rear to mount the bar?. I've also come accross many "upgraded" neoprene front and rear link kits on the net that claim to be direct replacement fit, but reading some previous posts, it seems that you have to measure the bolt length to get the right fittment?.

Sorry, it just seems that upgrading the SE susp. seems to be hit or miss.
