Oh yeah, definitely doing that. Did you add any extra adhesive to help the vinyl stay on the caps?

Nope, I cleaned all the grease and grime off them and wrapped it all the way around to the back side.

I cleaned them up with some soap and water, then cleaned them with rubbing alcohol and they all wrapped quite easily. I did the same thing by wrapping the vinyl under the lip, so that the cap holds the vinyl in place. It looks great! Thanks for the suggestion Matt! Now to just find some good tires to get on them this week!

And MAN this thing is going to look good! Image

While I don't share your enthusiasm based on this rendition thus far, I reserve judgement for the final product...

yeah my photoshopping skills definitely don't do them justice. They look much better in person, but of course I have to get tires on them to get a good pic on the car lol. They're a significant improvement over the granny wheels in my sig pic hahaha :)

Just got back from getting my tires on, and wow are the bent 5s an improvement over stock! Just makes me wish the car was about an inch lower, but I'm really happy with the look! Pardon the extremely dirty car, I'm hoping to pull all 4 wheels off and detail them and the car this week if it doesn't rain. Anyone recommend a good chrome polish for these wheels?

Looks great, Joseph! I think they fit the Lesabre perfectly. Completely changes the look of the car for the better.

Those old wheels were ready to go, didn't know they were that bad. But I like the new look!

Thanks guys! I'll post a full thread with some pics once they upload. Yeah the old wheels were definitely tired and showing their age. They need a good cleaning, they're still decent, but the new wheels really help the car. It's so hard to get a clean picture of the new wheels though. With the fender lining being so dark, it's hard to see the tires in most of my pics, so it gives the illusion that the car is about an inch higher than it actually sits. I need to work on my photography skills to fix that though lol.
