Well once again I got bored. (I really need a hobby or something.) So I washed the 96 and polished it.
I decided to pay a visit to the former ASC facility where some of these were worked on and grab some pictures.

I've always loved this body style GP! Love this one but honestly the red wheels just don't do it for me.

I hated the gold and silver was ok, but I saw a picture of an early one with body matched wheels by that one exact building. It was a yellow car though, and I can't find that picture now to save my life. But that's the look I was going for.

I think the color match with the polished lip fit that generation nicely. I wouldn't do it on a newer one, but on that, it's cool.

I found it! Of course I wasn't about to try to drive onto the grass there. The curbs are pretty tall.

Here are those interior pictures you asked about. It really needs a good cleaning. Also don't mind the mismatched seat, it broke over winter and the original was too messed up to even think about fixing and it was the only good seat at the junkyard that day.

Looks good. I like the seat color from the JY better than the OEM color. I'm not much into yellow, but I really like that GP in yellow. - BC

I would have taken all the seats from the jy car since the interior was mint, but it was a 4 door so the seats don't go forward and it was like 5 degrees outside so I grabbed the one I needed and called it good enough.

Looks good and nice photo spot.

For a while I reallllllly wanted one of these with the LQ1 and 5-speed. They would pop up on fleabay periodically 8 years or so ago.
