Wandered in

Post by Custom88 »

Wow, this has been a real trip the last few days. Somehow the mass email didn't get to me and I was left at BC devastated. lol. Yesterday morning I put up a post over there that I felt the staff changes were unerhanded and that BC was now dead. Quite a few people made rude comments and basically said if I don't like it leave then. Alright, no prob. ;) This morning I guess I know the real reason why. I kept checking out http://www.mnbonnevilleclub.com and couldn't find ANY of the regulars. I was pretty depressed. lol. I felt like everyone moved on without me. :bsmack: Talked to Jim over on ACNA and he let me know about the new site though. Thanks, JimW. Ya'll aren't getting rid of me THAT easy. j/k. I'm glad to be back over here, it's like a family reunion.

Good to see you found us. I also didn't receive an email but found out about Pontiac Bonneville Club when reading a post by PeterG. I'm afraid there may be more members that got lost but hopefully they'll find us. The staff did all they could to get emails out but not everyone received them. BC is DEAD over there. My curiosity got the best of me so I checked in a little while ago. There are about 3 people posting. They should shrivel up soon, there is nothing new to read on the site.

I can only imagine how Jeff Keacher is feeling about this whole episode. I can only imagine how proud he is of the administrative staff he put together a long time ago who pulled together, jumped ship, and brought us all over here to start off again on our own. We're kinda like pilgrims, eh?

Whew! Glad to see you made it :) Saw your note over there, but missed the fact that you hadn't made it here (curiosity has gotten the best of me, so I've been keeping track of post counts over there, but I think today will be the last day of that...as you saw, the place is dead).

I know the staff has been trying to get the word out very diligently, but gmail has imposed some restrictions on the number of e-mails going out in any given day.

In any event, WELCOME!

Getting the word out would be a good idea. Someone post over on MNBC, and any other forums you can think of so people know.

We couldn't email everyone (yet) but we got a BIG chunk of them out. It's very difficult to compile a complete email list and contact people through other means, but the word WILL get out soon enough.

Welcome home, Custom. ;) You got some catching up to do. Read the sticky in the lounge about post counts. And the info in NOTICE. Pretty much wraps up the basics.
