Brake swap
So I recently got a set of grand prix gxp rims for my 2000 SLE and I immediately realized how small my rotors were and decided to up my rotor size but wanted to swap some bigger calipers on and wondered which cars I could swap from and what my best choice is

Re: Brake swap
Direct swap would be the GXP brake set up. Otherwise, most other calipers require some custom effort like new brackets.

Re: Brake swap
So the 2000 F-body would work? I can get a good set of Camero SS
caliper and rotors for cheap. Would they be as good as the GXP brakes?

Re: Brake swap
F-body rotors are 11.9" diameter, the GXP are 12.8", so GXP is going to be better than the F-body, all are going to be better than stock.
Best would be the CTS-V setup, 14" rotors. But won't fit under anything less than 18" wheels.

Re: Brake swap
The F-body setup uses the same as OE rotors, just upgrades to a dual-piston caliper...
Bye Bye:

I forget that '00+ SSEi/SLE got the 11.9" rotor as well.
