Alright! Love that photo! If my "boss lady" was there and had to drive in the snow, she would freak out. We were in Springfield, IL January 2011 when it snowed "a lot". It was deep enough that it almost touched the bottom of the car. The "boss lady" almost went "ballistic" on me because she had only seen snow that deep once before and didn't have to drive to Little Rock AR in it. Remember, don't go sliding into something solid and mess up that good looking Bonneville. - BC

To be honest, I'm quite excited for the snow.

I love the fog placement too, nothing coming down the road looks like a Bonneville. We have our own light signature. :)

Ban the guy above me.

After last winter, I officially HATE snow. I don't want to see it again! I can deal with the cold, but I'm tired of snow!

I'm tired of moving it and putting it somewhere.

Unlike rain, that will just run off to the nearest drain or dry up as it absorbs or the sun comes out. I gotta push it (snow), and pile it somewhere.

I'm 100% with Lane here. Winter/snow just plain suck. I would the happiest person alive if that season could just be deleted from nature.

But, yeah, with the right tires, these cars take on the snow challenge. The older H-bodies were even more of beasts in the snow.

I love the snow, not so much the cold though. With AWD and snow tires, I think I'll be unstoppable this year. I love flying by the little Prius's going 10mph in a 45mph that are afraid of the snow. ;)

Dog gone it!! Don't you guys ever listen to my suggestions?!?!?!? Move down here and very rarely does it ever snow. Sometimes it will go 18 years. We will have a couple of ice storms in between, but nothing like what you get now. - BC

EDIT: It just came to me. You guys like having something to complain about! That's it! - LOL! - BC

I've been looking at 2003-2006 Silverados. I had no idea how expensive they are. Seems like if you want 4wd and under 100,000 miles you have to pay around 15,000. Fully optioned between 20 and 25 and Duramax's are around 30. We're talking 10 year old trucks!
On the bright side, I'm sure they hold their value pretty well.

Seems like you almost be better off buying new. It's amazing how much premium a pickup gets over an SUV. At least around here an exact same vehicle condition/mileage wise pickup vs SUV could bring double the price. Hence us going with the Burb/Tahoe. More bang for the buck.

I am also one who really likes snow. Monday was my first day driving in snow(about 8-10 inches), both in my Bonneville and also just in general my first time(this is my first year driving), but I guess I was sort of used to it(as in the terrible traction, and having to be precise in throttle, brakes, and steering) from racing dirtbikes for over 13 years. :btruestory:
