Any way to get a look at the evaporator?

So my car's A/c system has a leak. The sniffer i borrowed didnt start chirping along any of the lines or by the compressor or by a vent with the A/c going also i didnt see any dye in the engine bay so im leaning towards the evaporator leaking.

According to this thread, http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/fo ... 28583.html , about cleaning the evaporator there are three ways i maybe access the evaporator...

- Remove blower motor control module and use the resulting opening
or
- Remove blower motor and use that opening
or
- Drill small hole in HVAC module housing, seal hole with plug or RTV after procedure complete

^ This info was pulled from a TSB covering 1993 to 2010 GM cars.

Does anyone know if i can get a look at the evaporator via the blower motor hole or the resistor hole? I think drilling a small hole might not let me get a good look so im hoping one of the other 2 ways could work.

Drop the blower motor for full access. I removed the entire dash in the search for my blower air flow problem but that isn't necessary for just dropping the blower motor out. I was able to get my phone inside the HVAC box for pics of the evaporator core so you should have no problem getting a sniffer probe in there.
