so Friday afternoon I picked up a can of Plastidip at the local Menards. we used it on the side mirrors of my brothers Taurus since one of them was replaced and didn't match.

this morning I decided to try it out in my SE as well

PD'd the chrome grille trim and chrome side trim accents.
not quite sure how I feel.

Dipped the exhaust tips, Bonneville badge on the trunk lid and the chrome door strips. The closer I get to finished the more I like it!

how many layers did you use on the trunk badge? that's my next piece to do, and I was unsure about it.

Minimum six layers if you want it to peel off easily around it. Use a toothpick to get the dip out between the letters.

Mufflers and tips were on it when I got it, looks to be a stock style '92-'99 dual outlet muffler.

fnally got to do the trunk badge. I really like it.
I think after I get the tails tinted it will help the look out more.

may need to re-do it. scraped a little bit off the "B" when peeling the inside out. may respray that part.

Anthracite Grey Metallic finish, I tapped around the edge of the wheel because I wanted a hint of bright. I've now done the lower chrome strips all around. Next is the chrome along the roof line.

I like the silver lip! Back end is sitting really high though, ELC system broke?

No, I take my wheels off to dip them, car just had the wheels put on taken off jack stands. No ELC.
