Awesome, outstanding, and incredible!

Enlighten us (actually just me, in case the '05 GXP will get a similar treatment):

1) L67 harness to GXP firewall...any repinning that had to be done?
2) The L67 PCM...is it untouched? You mentioned it hadn't been tuned yet, but is the security disabled or did it need a VIN relink?
3) Did the GXP exhaust work with the headers?

1) no repinning, connectors are identical except that the N* has a few more sensors going to the firewall that the L67 doesn't use.
2) just a standard INTENSE burn. I had to do the standard 30 minute security relearn.
3) I didn't use the GXP exhaust, its the exhaust off my 2000 SSEi with the Pacesetter collector, Magnaflow cat, stock res and stock mufflers with Corvette tips.

Thanks for all the details about the engine and trans.

Is there something wrong with the Monroe quick-struts? (I sure hope not....just put them in my car this weekend; definitely needs to settle down!)

I think converting to a true L32 with 3.29s would be a great alternative to the N*. Although, I have to admit, I love the growl the N* makes!

The difference between haro's and a "true" L32 is an electronic throttle, and the mods....

another update...

So, I had it running back in April, but didn't really finish it up. Once the baby showed up, my time disappeared even more. However, this last week I've been tinkering on it again. I got the intercooler lines plumbed and I'm really happy with how clean it turned out. I used Pat's idea of the Riviera coolant reservoir and modded it to work. I'm using ZZP's intercooler pump controller and it works pretty great. With ignition, its running at 5%, but anytime the throttle is at 50% or more, the pump flows 100%.

Things left to do:
Figure out what to do about the ride height. Randy has some springs for me that might drop it. I'll put them in and see what it does.
It needs a tune really bad... Larz01 I'll be calling you.
The polished blower I got from Jared Shelton needs to be rebuilt, its bearings are HOWLING. Considering I paid $600 for this blower, I'm not really excited about that.
I want to get everything polished that I originally had planned on. This includes the alternator, throttle body, and all the bolts chrome plated. It shines, but its very dull right now. Not sure if I'm going to repolish/rebuild this blower, or start over with a good one.

Looks good!

With your polished parts, I'd suggest Shine Seal for keeping them looking good. Automotive clear paint and clear powdercoat clouds the finish and can develop oxidation under it. Ask me how I know..

Waittt. So just out of curiosity.. why did you replace a V8 with a SC V6 Engine? I see you said it wasn't running. I wasn't sure if that meant that the engine died.

Also, is your modded engine now faster than the V8?
