Didja see all that smoke? That was ours from the burnout. Wanna see how it got there?

Both of us had smoke POURING out of our cars at the finish line when we cracked our windows open.

Re: WCBF track day Vids (Vince, post here for a fresh start)
That run? Pdad won. He bested me all day. But the margin got tighter and tighter through the day until we were only 0.2 off each other. Dead equal R/T's and 60's all day. I smelled a rat on my 3rd pass and had 2000SilverBullet ride shotgun to watch my O2's. I was running 9.8:1 at WOT because of the intercooler setup (which isn't on the car any more) so spent the next 3 runs dialing it down. ET's came down with it.
Last run of the day, Pdad and I both ran about .5 slower than our PB, but both of us were running 2.0 60's instead of our traditional 1.9's. That's ok. We typically run at least .5 quicker on race day Saturday, so both of us should closely match or just beat our existing PB's with our cars (mine from 2007, his from 2006).
In fact, every car here was running about a tenth slower on 60' and half-second off expected ET's.
Saturday is ALWAYS PB day here when we start time trials in the morning instead of on a hot afternoon at 3pm.

Track was slick, weather was ok. Pretty good for an afternoon session actually. But saturday morning we start on a well-prepped track at about 60 degrees.

PDXGTP your rock! its Tarah by the way =P Everyone thinks is Tar-rah its Sarah with a T. The 740 ran great with horrible times haha. The best last night was a 16.05. Its slower than molasses off the line (it wont even chirp the tires) But it was awesome on the trip we took to the coast, ask Silverbullet =D. It has awesome top end that will keep up with if not out run a modded SC Bonneville.

FYI, in that vid where Bob's car ran the 13.9 something, it was PDXGTP behind the wheel. Bob's car was a track bitch all day long. Rode hard, put away hot.

2000 SSEi (Silver Eagle) cleared corners (before accident) new LIM gasket, drilled 180 T-stat, new plugs and wires, new valve cover gaskets, new Supercharger gasket, third brake light overlay. Hopefully soon to start more mods for performance. Also, 2005 White SE totally stock and will remain that way!

Thank you Bob & Vince for your hard work and kindness!!

60's will be the first couple hours tomorrow morning, wasn't yesterday. 85-90 yesterday at the track.
We leave at 6:30am sharp tomorrow morning for the serious track business. Expect several PB's.

Humor me tomorrow Pdad and do just a quick 1-3 second burnout and wait 10 seconds to stage.
Your MPH comes way down after an extended burnout. You don't need to burn em that long and it may be hurting your timing on the launch. Make sure all 4 wheel speed sensors are removed. If you have a scanner I recommend scanning timing before, during and after the burnout as well as on the launch.

*dang* guys, nice burnout! I know it doesn't help with times, but it sure looks cool.

Continuing your tradition, Shadd.
FYI, Thomas (PDXGTP) is running the SLEeper for us tomorrow in competition.
In the Bonneville lane. We're stoked that he was interested in the opportunity. For those that remember, I had the pleasure of going head to head with him last year in competition on Saturday while he was in the GP lane. He's pretty impressed with the car (he has it right now).
Guess he needs to drive the Zilla a bit.
(FYI, Katie, Bo and I just did some quick boost testing for the first time since we got the car running, as I hadn't watched the other gauge during testing yesterday. We hit a peak of 13.5psi on a quick burst, but ran out of room. Pretty sure it'll peak at 14psi in the morning on the way to the KOA to join the convoy to the dragstrip at 6am. We ran the 2.2" pulley yesterday on this Gen3 setup, and will tomorrow as well.)
