Boost gauge sits at -70

Boost gauge sits at -70
The boost gauge on my 96 SSEi sits at -70 rather then at 0 when I am at idle. This happened on my 97 as well. Is this a common problem on the supercharged 3800 and what is the fix. thanks

That's exactly what it should be doing. Doesn't sound like anything is wrong.

At idle, it reads normal vacuum of the engine, thus negative value. It is correct.
