1993 SSEI problems

Post by failure »

Hey new guy hear. Well I just got the 93 and have ran into a long list of problems. But the one I need help with right now is when i turn my right blinker on the one one the dash lights up but dose not blink. I replaced all the lights all the way around the car and the left turn signal works now. I asked my father what it could be and he said that it could be a relay? And if this info helps if I turn my head lights off The right blinker will sometimes work.

Do all of the bulbs illuminate when it won't flash (right blinker)? There isn't a relay on these that I'm aware of (there is a flasher by the steering column, that will only blink if enough power is drawn through it) but one of my rear bulb sockets was not making good connection to the bulb causing that side to not blink (not enough power drawn through the flasher). Also, check to see if the hazards work and all lights illuminate.
