Seems like I am always held back on my project cars when I am diagnosing. I can borrow a Tech2 from Marty's brother, but I have to drive 30 miles to get it, and I can't keep it very long. I decided that I needed my own. I went hunting for about a month, and bid on a few on ebay, but they all went over $1500. I started a nationwide craigslist search, but its hard to find a trustworthy person when we are talking about a $1000 non-face-to-face transaction. I finally found a dealership in PA selling their backup Tech2 for $800. Score!
No CANdi module, but I don't need that for any Bonneville.
When looking at Tech2's, you have to make sure its a real GM one, as their are MANY chinese clones. The clones kinda work, but they can't do a lot of the sophisticated stuff like reprogram modules.
