is this the normal running temp
ok so i just got done replacing the thermostat on my 96 se. i used a 195 thermo with the fail safe, the gasket, and some thermogastet apoxy. i got her all put back together and took her for a quick highway run. i noticed the temp seem to bounce between 185ish no 200. is this a normal temp flux for this car? After it reaches what temp should i start to worry?

Re: is this the normal running temp
You put a 195 thermostat in, which is stock temp, there is no need to worry about temps being around 200 as that is right where they should be. The temp is jumping around because there is air in the system still, once it bleeds out it will stay steady around 200. The cooling fans don't come on until around 215 I think, but you should never see anything higher then 200 in the winter months unless there is still air in the system.
