It actually hits the bumper. But as he said, definitely not his problem anymore!1oldman wrote: Who cares as long was it's another Pontiac still running the roads.

I have to agree, as my 95 was a similar setup. with that black grill it looks strikingly similarsamples08 wrote:thats great that you got it fixed back up and honestly i think the hood and grille look good on that car totally better than the painted ones, for somereason i just dont like that look grille same color as the car just looks better BLACK!!

as it got worse i got pissed, a few good people on this forum told me to change the complete wire harness that comes from the icm and goes over the engine..
i grabbed one for $17 from my local u-pull-it ..
and the problem went away and never came back..
i inspected the old wire harness a few times and could not find any spliced, scraped, broken, or pinched wires any where on it.. also no wires seem to have pulled loose from the icm or other clips on the wire harness, so in other works it looked 100% fine but it had a short somewhere inside it..
so i hope you bring crash ( jimmy dean ) back on the road... i also think i have a icm off my series 2 that i could possibly mail to you if you would like to swap yours out and see if that works before you replace the engine sensor wire harness.
just let me no.
