Chat about all things Bonneville (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the lounge, and all mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.
well iam thinking of buying a car from copart and all i have is pics . just wondering if someone can look at the pics and tell me if its fixable ? does it look like it has frame damage ? it does not need to be perfect just fixable ? it is a 2000 SSEI with 140 k . inside is Clean , runs and drives .

I'd consider that one to not be worth your time. I would expect floorpan damage behind all of that, and the quarter panels look like they're a bit crinkled.
i know for sure it wont go for 200 i put a max bid of 750 . since iam close and could maybe drive it home . or i have a freind with a truck . and i will go to uhaul and rent a car dolly .
Hopefully you can pick it up for fairly cheap - I bet the wheels alone could easily fetch near $1000 if you cleaned them up. If you do end up winning though, I'd take it to a mechanic anyways just to get confirmation as to whether or not there is chassis damage. That way at least you know for sure it would be a part-out car.
Too bad though, because the rest of it looks nice. Just not big on that shade of brown. I see so many Bonnevilles in that colour and it always confuses me since there are much nicer colours available!
Driving a car is like commanding a submarine - the deeper you go the better your chances!

More like $400-500. And the wrinkle on the top of the driver's side quarter panel is enough to make it not worth it to me, at least to try to repair it.
The whole rear end of that car is tweaked. No way is it worth fixing unless you own a frame repair shop.
Wheels are probably worth $750 to the right buyer. I'd say $600 would be my max on the car, it's a lot of work to tear one down and sell the parts, plus the hassle of shipping, etc.
Bye Bye: RIP sandrock
