i installed an amp from a 2003 ssei as mine crapped out. ever since my compass needs to be calibrated about once a day.
not sure whats going on. is it related?

There is a Rear-Integration module on the back of your rear-seat... I plugged something into this wrong when hooking up a Peripheral iPod adapter (because they didn't know what they were doing and told me wrong) and it reset the compass... Make sure everything is hooked into that correctly... or just make sure there are no wires loose.. and also make sure your amp isn't draining your battery when the car is off.... Make sure the power to the amp shuts off when you shut the car off..

The amp is the stock style Amp, and has stock wiring to and from it. I doubt it's not shutting off.

Move amp or sub away from the back deck. its interferring with the magnetic field for the compass. I had that happen once.
