2000 SSEi Roof Leaks

Post by japm0520 »

I bought a used Bonneville and when it rains, I get water in my back seat (floor). I have already unclogged the 4 main drain channels, but now I have a wet (inside) windshield. Are there other drain channels I should know about?

Only 4 drains. Maybe you have a replacement windshield with a bad seal?

Not sure if you mean that you only blew out debris in the drain lines from up top or if you also checked where the drain tube(s) can come apart in the cabin.

Maybe your drain tubes from the sunroof became disconnected. There is a drain tube connection under the plastic trim panel on the windshield A pillar. The trim panel is easy to pull off without tools. You can do a visual inspection of the tube there. Or perhaps the drain tube is disconnected right at the sunroof drip pan and water is draining down the A Pillar. It's not usual to find water pooling around the windshield. Much more customary to find it on the floor, even when it originates in the headliner due to overflowing drip pan.
