No I didn't scoop this up for super cheap... but it is my first actual "customer car". This is Shannon's aunts daily driver. Its an 03 Denali. Last week she was grocery shopping, and a half gallon of chocolate milk slipped out of the bag and under the seat. She didn't notice. The truck sat for 3 days in the heat... the jug exploded... smelly chocolate milk all over the back seat carpet. They did there best to clean it up... but without removing the seats you'll never get it all out. When we went to see them this Memorial weekend, we discusses trading vehicles so I could clean theres up. I'm doing it from the goodness of my heart, and just to show her family what I do (they all think I'm a gold digger since I don't have a job)... so I probably won't make any money.
The truck is in great shape, and is kept really clean… so the before and after pics won’t do it much justice, but the smell is the main issue.
Anywho... here it is
After the seats were out... you can see the carpet cleaner they sprinkled on. The smell is just atrocious. :sad5:
Carpet out...
Here is the carpet padding… moldy!
I cut out the bad sections (new GM padding was $110 & 150 per section)
And then put in some other carpet padding
Then I started cleaning the carpet
And I’ll let it dry overnight.
