if you guys didnt know, in houston texas we have our own car culture. not donks, expensive exotic cars...we call them slabs!
to have a slab you have to have swangas<swangaz<elbows<84s<4z...wrapped in vogue tires...candy paint...loud music in the trunk...5th wheels etc

the wheels we ride on poke out...the more your poke the more you spent on your wheels

besides the part that "pokes out" as you put it. I kinda like it. I was telling a friend, i wonder what my car would look like with 100 spokes and caddy vogues. now i know :)

Definitely not my style, but if you like it, good for you. I follow my own drummer, even if he is a little insane at times, lol.

I don't care for the center of them sticking out much, looks odd to me, but I don't ever see anything like that up here. Other then that, I like it as well. I am really loving the paint jobs though... especially that blue :hail:

Not really my thing either, but I'm digging a couple of the paint jobs. Which one is yours?

my friend has the candy red bonnie and another guy i know has the white one. the blue one is for a rapper here in houston name slim thug. back in 2006 my big bro was killed over his black bonnie on 84s
& vogues.

these rims cost anywhere from 1800-5600 depending on size in inches & how far they poke out. they are a houston tradition & many would say a very dangerous rim becaus many people have lost their life to them.

Geez. I could put my car in the 13's for the cost of your cheap wheels, lol.

I guess I didn't even notice the continental kits. Not my thing, either. It is cool to see what others are doing with their bonnes, though. Is the blue one an SLE or an SSEi?

Not my thing either, but if it didn't stick out so far I would like it alot more. I contemplated putting wires on my car, but I don't want the torque and stupid driving to pop the spokes out.

Sorry to say, but the 5th on back kills it for me. They are very nice rims, but they just dont fit the 2k+ body style imo. Absolutely perfect for the 60s bonnevilles.

But if its your car, and if you like it, thats all that matters.

I love the paint job, and I really like the rims and tires, but I'm not a fan of the Continental kits. But other than that, I would rock that all day long.

I gotta agree with Wes on this one.
I'd take the fifth, the F-I-F, the one, two, three, four,FIFTH wheel, off.
I think it clashes with the lines on the last generation of Bonneville.
I do believe, however, that it would work with 92-99.
Outside of that, I'm looking at some really clean looking cars - no small feet.

Not my thing at all. IDK why it matters to show how much you spend on rims, kinda ridiculous if you ask me. Especially if people are losing their lives over it as you said.

Wow, I didn't see that at all in your post. Your brother was killed over a car? The guy was jealous or what?

I'll be honest. I kinda like the fifth wheel (Continental, I think it has been called?) Wow, the paint jobs are gorgeous. Eh, the elbows are a bit much. I do like the vogue tires. Doesn't work on many cars; I like when the Cadillac Deville came with those tires a few years back, and I think it works on these Bonnevilles.

Very sorry to hear about your brother, man. Sad to hear of someone losing their life over a "thing." A person's life is SO valuable. Stuff just isn't.

The spare attached to the rear is called a Continental kit, at least it was on the cars of the 50's and 60's.
