Ok, sorry to flip-flop, but I'm out yet again. I just found out a couple days ago that my Grandfather's memorial is the weekend after and I could only get one weekend off from work... Sorry guys, I'm officially out.

Do you have a schedule of events, or plans on what you are doing on particular days?

Figured I need to get my ass in gear and decide how I'm going to crash each night.

I'll be there mid-afternoon Friday and will leave either Sunday evening or Monday morning (probably Monday).

I skimmed through and saw something about a hotel, but also thought we could crash the joint by either camping or spooning? No? Hah!

Either way let me know what my options are. Thanks!

I have been terrible at the schedule this year compared to the past years :angry7:

Friday will be early arrivals, BSing, out for dinner or cooking on the grill, probably a nice bonfire.
Saturday is the main meet day with everyone showing up. Probably prepping for the track, detailing, some mechanical work if needed. Big fire ( if permitted by the DNR )
Sunday is track day, up by 8 AM and get ready to head out to the track, be there by 10:30 AM, likely be there most of the day, then back to the house for dinner, maybe a movie, relaxing.

The plans for the rest of the week will depend on how many people will still be here, but there is a local car show the next friday with a burnout competition, cruise, and other goodies that we will be going to for anyone that stays. Might also hit up a go cart track or something like last year, that was pretty fun!

There are a few local hotels, but seems like many are booked or expensive. We do have a lot of room in the house if you don't mind floor space (beds are claimed), but we also own a lot of land that can be camped on if you wish. We will figure something out either way. If people come, but don't want to foot a hotel bill ( I don't blame them ) we will find room :beerchug:

Ok so here's my thoughts. I want to make sure everyone eats on there vacation so they go back to work well nourished and revitalized... =D>

Friday night is still up in the air but I was thinking we wouldn't want to grill on Friday because we are going to grill on Saturday for sure. So we will see about Friday.

But for Sunday, I talked to Ryan and he said the food at the track was not very good and I believe it is quite expensive. So maybe all the fixings for sub sandwiches and just load the coolers..... any thoughts or opinions?

I have no idea who will all be here Sunday night for dinner once we return. I am not going to wanna cook for hours when we get back :hail: so I was thinking I would put roast in the crock pot before we go so it would be ready for us when we got back. :bhuh:

Just wanted to update you guys: Nicole and I are still about 50/50 on coming. I have a LOT going on at work right now - we're in the middle of a multi-million dollar refinancing project that pretty much makes or breaks the entire company. I'm off for a couple days right now bc I've been working 75+ hours a week for a loooong time and am pretty burned out.

Hopefully we will be able to make it again this year, we had a lot of fun last year. :beerchug: I will let you know for sure next week, it kinda just depends on when they schedule these *dang* showings at the properties. If not, I am planning on having a meet here in Canton, OH sometime around late July, early August.
