Floorshift.....extremely jealous.

You made a good choice, the Panther platform is a fairly rock solid design.

Go park in a dark parking lot, and hold a hair dryer out of the window and watch everyone slam on their brakes when they see you. :)

I knew a guy in high school with a black crown vic. He would do it all the time, and said it was hilarious.

We had a white Grand Marquis and it was a riot. Expressway driving at night was great. It was the best when you'd get right on someone's rear end who thinks they're innocent. They'd get right over for you!!!

I think this is the only Grand Marquis I've seen with a floor shifter. I likey.

One night I'll jack my sisters beat 1994 Crown Vic, Take my other sisters hair dryer, Drive to busy part of IL 251 and watch the hilarity.

Thank you all for the kind words.

I doubt that too many people will mistake the Marquis for a cop though.... a Crown Vic, sure.

Either way, I've already found that the car feels much more solid than the H body. I wonder if that is due to the body on frame construction, or the weight, coming in at 4,140 for the LSE trim with me onboard.
