GXP's = one of the best looking bonnevilles to date, and I'm a huge red fan, so you got my vote :]

I didn't ever think I'd like another body style more than the late '90's styling, but I stand corrected.

Wow....so what happened after that? Did you buy a different one from another dealer? I remember as a kid, how much I loved those '97 Grand Prixs when the first came out, and still remember all the "wider is better" ads on TV. My neighbor bought a brand new silver GT 4 door with the chrome wheels - I remember being on my bike, gawking at it as they drove by! Still one of my favorites from the 90's, but most are beat to death - maybe someday, I'll find a nice clean one to keep for the long haul. Actually backed out of a deal on a '99 GT coupe yesterday, in fact. Seems like I have a lot of memories with 90's Pontiacs, during that same time as a kid, my dad had a beautiful red, 3 yr old '95 Grand Am that was the envy of all my friends, lol. Now we laugh at why anyone would be envious of a '95 Grand Am, but hey - at the time, it was pretty sweet!

Very nice car, btw. Love the color. It seems like the best colors offered on the 2K Bonnevilles were all GXP colors - the pearl red, pearl white, graystone, etc.

They really were pretty cool cars for what it's worth, and ford didn't have anything that awesome back then. I remember riding in my friend's mom's ford escort wagon and feeling pretty embarrassed. My mom's saturn sl2 was a much cooler ride.
