Archon would be the guy to PM, I'm sure he still has it somewhere.
Thanks Carl! I stumbled into Haro's thread on common problems:

Re: 2002 bonneville se
2002 Bonneville dual zone and am looking for the air mix actuator, it's failed and I only have a bit of heat on drivers and pass is blowing cold as hell. For now I just want to manually move it to full heat for the winter. In the spring I will look into the issue.

Re: S/C3800 Hi Octane myth?
I pumped in some 87 by mistake one time and my Aero kept flashing KR at me just driving in town. I pulled into Oreilly and grabbed some boost. I was seeing up to 6 just driving in town not getting on it.

Re: I'm afraid LIM gasket time has come (2003 SSEi)
Yes, you will definably need to change the oil. You will contaminate it when you change the gasket.
A few tips.
Pull the alternator and bypass bracket and then pop the thermostat out... you can then take moderate pressure compressed air and blow the rest of the coolant out of the LIM, so you get ...

cat
fuel pressure
air filtr or air restricted
Vac leak
MAF (Try and disconnect the maf connector and see how it runs)
Smoke test the car and find the leak, otherwise you will be chasing the thing. I did mine and found out it was the fuel pump gas tank seal. Best $40 I ever spent.

Re: Emergency brake light/ding on/lever useless
It's possible it broke, but it may just be bound/rusted and not releasing. This can be very bad as it can cause the back brakes to drag. (Can wear them out, warp rotors or even cause a fire) There's an easy way to find out jack the car up and then try and turn the rear wheel. Also those brakes ...

Re: A/C blows warm and engine coolant is low
No! Worse case scenario is the motor spins a bearing or bends rods, pops a piston or some combination thereof! :dontknow:
If the coolant is missing, and it's not on the ground, it had to go somewhere. It might or might not go into the oil. It might just dump it in a cylinder and burn it as if it ...

Re: A/C blows warm and engine coolant is low
Stop driving it right now. You have the 3.8 intake shuffle going on. Do a search on lower intake gasket here. As to the air, maybe low freon level.
Most likely, the intake gasket is cracked and you are either dumping coolant in the oil or burning it... either way the engine will eat itself if you ...

If the injectors are firing and the fuel is okay then:
You are not getting spark..
ICM bad
CPS bad
PCM bad
Short ground or otherwise
Security system Malf
IAC bad... not likely
Wires rules out
Plugs unlikely
That's all I can think of off hand, but the from what you said, you are having a spark ...

Re: my car humms in the back trunk?
So every now and then I can hear a hum coming from the back of the car. It sounds like its coming from the trunk. Could it be the fuel pump in the trunk? Could it be going bad. It doesnt do it all the time , just now and then. Also my cars ac hisses or whistles when I turn the car off. Noise comes ...

Unplugging the maf has no effect. Still tries to start, run rough for 3 seconds and chokes and dies.
I think the hiss is just the sound of the fuel rail charging when the key is turned. That may be nothing. Although i hear it again for a split second after it dies.
