Re: security system
Took it to a shop due to lack of time to do it myself. Turns out it was some wires in the front end that had got bunched and not working right.

Re: security system

Re: security system
Not that I'm aware of. I had a bad front end accident, but it was totally repaired and the car ran perfectly fine for two-three weeks before this happened. It doesn't have low fuel but I'll check the things you've listed next chance I get. I don't know if this will help or not, but the battery died ...

Re: security system
The fuel shouldn't be a problem, we checked and there wasn't a problem with it. I've heard that a security system will either disable the starter or turn off the fuel pump.

security system
I'm pretty sure that my security system somehow got messed up. I didn't drive it for a couple days and now it won't start. Or when it starts it runs for a little bit (about 30 secs) then just dies. When it doesn't start it still turns over but it doesn't catch. We have tried the 10 min key thing and ...

Re: Engine cuts out.
I got it fixed at least temporarily. My dad knows a mechanic who suggested that I turn the key in the one position and leave it for ten minutes. Now it works, apparently its a glitch in the security system.

Re: Engine cuts out.
What I meant to say was, it starts up a little different than during the summer. but once it gets started it runs perfectly fine for what seems like 30 secs. Then the rpm's cut in half and it seems to almost stall. Then goes back to normal idle before finally cutting out for good. It doesn't sputter ...

Engine cuts out.
Ok, it has been really cold where I live (ranging from -10 up to 20 the past week). Just this morning I started up my '03 ssei and it runs for what seems about 30 secs, then seems to just cut out. Once it cut its RPM's in half briefly before returning to normal, then cutting out. I was wondering if ...

stability system
My 2003 SSEi has now come up with the warning "Service Stability System" and the ABS Brake And Traction lights come on inside the instrument panel. And the traction control turns off on the button to engage/disengage it. It's happened three times but spread out over like a week or two. Is something ...

Re: front right wheel area
Well, an expert mechanic test drove it and did a thorough inspection and couldn't find anything mechanically wrong with my car with any thing that may make that sound.

If you want something less intensive you could do what I do. I have a cassette adapter thing. Put into the cassette thing and plug the cord thing into the headphone jack on your music player and it plays through the cassette. It's not perfect(the cassette thing tends to click as it turns) but the ...

Re: front right wheel area
Found out for sure that my shop replaced all four brakes and both front hubs. Went for a ride with my dad and he said considering all that new stuff he finds it hard to believe that it would be that. Plus when making turns either way the noise isn't really affected. He thought it might be the tire ...

Re: front right wheel area
Well it wasn't a quick fix at a questionable place. The place it was at I trust to do a great job and know what they are doing. I'll prolly take it back there and have them look at it.

Re: front right wheel area
Goes away when I turn. I just had a bunch of stuff changed when I got my tires changed. Including brakes, 90% sure that wheel bearings were one of them. I'll get it taken care of soon then.

front right wheel area
When driving once I get to about 35mph-45mph a rotating noise kicks in and you can hear it fairly well. Once you get above 45 you don't hear it until about 65 and then it is much higher pitched and you can obviously hear it rotating faster. I was wondering if it is anything serious. I'm just ...

well first thing that came to mind when it happened was the commercial where the car won't let the guy fill up with gas because it's not a certain chain gas station.

Re: door to fuel tank
Found it. I guess I overlooked it at the gas station thinking it was a trunk release because it was covered in tape. It still latches shut everytime I close but at least now I have a way to open it.

door to fuel tank
The door to the fuel tank has locked and can't get it open. I tried locking and unlocking car and that did nothing. Then i looked around and couldnt find any override button or something like that.
