Re: Rear ended an SUV, pissed and scarred at the same time.

Personally I dont think ABS is all that great in snow anyway. On dry and wet pavement yeah but snow covered roads theres basically NO STOPPING. Ill take plain old brakes any day over ABS on a snow covered road.

I find that ABS helps allow you to hit your brakes and still have control, where some ...

Re: Exhaust pipe size for an 04 SE?

o ok, I have never really had any issues with Flowmasters Drone haha. I like to hear my exhaust inside the car, but i would rather have a nice tone and have it be a little more quiet inside the cab then be loud and sound like sheeet.

Re: Exhaust pipe size for an 04 SE?

True, but I do know the Delta Flows are a good bit more quiet then the Original 40. That said I know its not going to be very quiet lol.

Exhaust pipe size for an 04 SE?

I was wondering what size exhaust pipe they use on the 2004 Bonnevilles. I have a Flowmaster 40 Delta flow sitting in my garauge that I was thinking about putting on my car. I didnt want to cut off the old muffler though till I knew for sure what size they use. The Flowmaster is a 2.0 inch that I ...

Re: Extra grand a year to insure Pontiac : (

ANY car costs that much to insure for any male under 25. In fact, if I had a car under my ownership and policy right at age 18, I would be looking at MINIMUM $5-6k per year to insure it, liability only. It works out to about $3500 at this point (age 23-24), and as soon as I turn 25 it'll drop below ...

Re: Headlight mod

The lense covers themselves do oxidize and turn yellowish, but that's the only issue. All plastic lenses will do this. I have never heard of anyone baking their lights, some people put these headlights in the oven at about 200 degrees for a bit to soften the glue up but that isn't necessary if it ...

Re: Extra grand a year to insure Pontiac : (

When I was 18 I payed $120 a month for liability/uninsured moterist and I had a spotless driving record, and that was on a 1984 Ford Ranger 2wd 2.0L 4cyl gutless wonder lol. Now I had my own insurence seperate from my moms.

Re: Hello From Alaska

Welcome.
Knowing the history of the car made it a no brainer. Plus for that kind of money it's a win win for you.
Can't wait to see the pictures after you get it all fixed.

I actually have a guy coming out to look at my Ranger tonight, if he buys it I will have the money to get the front fender ...
