Argent silver would be a good match.
I used a Summit 2part (color/hardener) but it is no longer available.
I wouldn't use "rattle can" as it isn't very resistant to brake dust oxidation.

I'd check the a-arm bushings. If you torque the lug nuts on the front wheel, you may see a toe-in change due to the bushing being worn out. In my case, I had to change both lower A-arms.

You can use a brass compression fitting for 1/8" line if the existing line is cut. A local hardware store should have a splice fitting.
No need to buy the Monroe kit.

Re: Tire pressure Monitors
Just to be sure (I think the GXP is the same) you did step through the information on the DIC to get to the tire pressure low section, and reset it there?
If you just reset the "fault" the message will return.

I'd check the dust shield for rubbing where it fits into the "groove" of the brake drum.

GXP Alternator hot wire
Quick question:
Does your alternator hot wire run in front of the a/c line or between the a/c line and the engine?
Mine was in front, but I think I'm going to route the hot wire between the a/c and engine to give me more room to put the cooling fans back in.

Re: HELP ASAP ! leaking lower tranny line
Cut off both ends just past the swaged fittings. Use proper reinforced hose, slide hose onto tubing as far as required and use TWO hose clamps on each end to clamp the hose to the tubing. The two clamps will prevent the hose from slipping off since there are no "barbs" to grab the iD of the hose.

Never mind.
It won't work with the memory module. Tried to swap harnesses BUT there is one connector that doesn't match up.

GXP Seat in a 2003 SLE
I have a 2004 GXP seat, power, heated and with the memory module.
I want to install this seat in my 2003 SLE that has power and heated seats (heated seat does not work).
Would just be a "plug and play" install and the memory module just does "nothing" or do I have to remove the memory module and ...

Re: 97 Rear Ball joint issue
Shouldn't the pressure from the coil spring keep the ball joint "loaded" against the LCA?
Only if you place a jack under the LCA and lift the car that the ball joint "may" break loose from a poor press fit.

Have you tried a "Low Tire Pressure" reset from the main DIC? This is different than just a "reset" when the error shows up.

I'll agree with "sticking" caliper pins. It causes the caliper/pad assembly not to "center" on the rotor, thus causing hot spots that warp the rotor.

I did also with the clear coat...looked awful after 2 years of brake dust and sun exposure. That's with using ceramic pads not semi-metallic.
