Re: Heat warmer on passenger side

Didn't really seem to notice a difference with ac, but dont drive it much in the summer and don't use ac a lot. The volume of air is equal on both sides.

Heat warmer on passenger side

So when I have the heat on in my car the passenger side gets hot like one would expect through the vents but the drivers side vents get warm at best. There is a very noticeable difference. What could the potential problems and fixes be?

Re: Tips for engine replacement

I almost have the engine out, i cant seem to get it around the mount on the passenger side. Do i need to remove the mount from the body? I can't see how to get the bracket that attaches to the engine off, i removed all the nuts that attached to it. Do i just need to pry more?

Tips for engine replacement

I have a bad rod bearing and need a new engine. Thinking about trying it in my driveway. What tips or pointers does anybody have, are there any write ups (I looked and couldn't find much) or books that would have good information. I do not have air tools but am thinking about buying an electric ...

I don't think you can replace just the rubber. Rockauto has the part for around $100.

If you want to run your amp at 4 oms than you will probably want 4 ohm SVC

Re: Just got an amp... Whats Next?

I dont think that amp would do much for speakers being 2 channel. But it would work fine to power a smaller sub. The monsoon system has a speaker amp built in I think, so you could probably just replace the speakers. Checkout crutchfield for tons or articles on car audio and diagrams, and sonix ...

Re: Winter tires for the van (Poll)

You could just use stock rims for summer and winter, and switch the tires every spring and fall

Re: Best Radar Detector?

If you really want protection you should have a radar jammer as well. As long as your not the fastest car on the road you probably wont get a ticket.

I remember being in Wisconsin on the freeway going 85 in at 65, and for about 20 miles we got passed by most traffic, it seems nobody follows the ...

Re: Lost wheel lock key

I would bring it to a gm dealer. If it was put on as a factory accessory then they will probably have a key for it. Or you can use rounded nut extractor sockets.

Re: What engine oil do you use?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'v heard to stay away from the high mileage oil unless you have really high mileage because it has additives to soften and expand gaskets and stuff to help stop leaking (I believe ATF does the same thing) but is worse off in the long run.

Nice bike! I love Ducatis. I got a couple bikes and in the summer its the only way to get around, I don't think my car has moved in over a week. Have you taken a MSF safety course?

Re: dash cam

I know my cousin had some kind of camera that sat behind his rear view camera. It was controlled by some company and was constantly recording and streaming video to them and would record it if there was motion. I believe he got some kind of insurance discount with it.
