Re: Fog Lights?

Here are some more pictures, with just the parking and fog lights on. They are every bit as bright as the stock H3s, if not more so. As long as they do not burn out, I'm happy.

Re: Fog Lights?

When replacing the fogs do they just twist out or does any part of the housing need removed first?

Re: Fog Lights?

I've already converted the low beams to HID and am very happy. I'm going to change the hi and fogs now and am reading about the fog kits having an H3 or H3C version. From what Ive read the difference is a matter of how the leads are attached. Anyone know if the H3C would fit better, or is this ...

Re: Fog Lights?

So am I understanding this right? Are people having issues with HID's fitting into the fog housings without modification?

Re: No air out of dash vents

Piggyback on this old thread, but I am having a similar problem. Cold air out of drivers side, hot out of passenger side. I'ts playing hell on these cold days :( I had this worked on once before and i believe the tech called it an actuator module...? It wasn't corrected and he blames it on ...

Re: Crazy problem..

No it wasn't shifting hard really. It did get a it worse since i posted my original question, as it is now (intermittently) acting like the tranny is totally out of gear. Once I get into a higher gear, and I let off of the accelerator, the speedo starts jumping aroud and as I give the engine gas the ...

Crazy problem..

Ok, My GXP is pushing 143 K but is doing remarkably well. The other day the speedometer needle started bouncing around and I could sense the tranny shifting around in the higher gears. I pulled over, shut it off, and restarted it. Problem went away. Any thoughts?

Not yet but I'm pretty sure. I will diagnose and get back to you after the 15th. I'll likely get both.

Blower motor resistor

I have intermittent failures of the blower fan. AC clutch engages normally but no fan at all. I can drive down the road with the AC switched on and hit a bump and the fan starts. Fan speed is limited, but there is enough to cool the car. I stopped at an AC repair and they said it was the resistor ...

Re: Will GXPs appreciate in value?

Well lotsa of good debate here! I really appreciate the input and it has helped me make up my mind. I guess then the possible need for trade in on a newer car will have to trump the possible, if not likely, financial gains to be made later. I really like the car and I think that it has a good ...

Will GXPs appreciate in value?

I have a 2005 GXP with 110,000 miles that is still in great shape outside but is beginning to have some mechanical issues that will need some serious bucks. I had the coolant leak that some stop leak fixed, I have a minor head gasket leak that still needs attention... but everything else that you ...
