Thought I should fill you guys in with my new project that is taking me away from the Bonneville club lately.

This is basically a bunch of photos that I've been taking over the last two weeks. Sorry for any confusion.

I bought a bike again for the summer. Its a salvaged 2007 Vulcan 900 Classic ...

My white 95 SSE

AKA "wifes daily driver"

I haven't shown her much so here is your chance to see our 1995 SSE
We bought it back in 1997 with only 6,800 miles on it
Faithful 'ol car wont stop running!

She is about stock except the gold molding I painted on it back in 1998 and a gutted air box and a few little ...

Re: My other ride/toy........

What'd you pay for it? Looks like a fun project!

I paid $2,900 for it. It has a salvaged title for now. All I have to do is rebuild it and have a state inspection done on it and some other "red tape" and it will be good to go.

I'll probably keep it for a couple of seasons and sell it and start ...

WI and MN Mini meet

Me and Harofreak00 had a small meet today.

We drove to the WI/MN border to swap some parts. Well I bought some anyway.

It was a beautiful day for a drive!

SSEi's are always going to have C68.

Have you looked at this? http://trialsnuts.com/ecc.pdf

Thank you Andrew. The only pic that shows what I need is the one that has the Redneck fix attached to it. :)

I was hoping to find a pic of one that someone pulled the whole box out along with the door ...

Re: Pic of '99 with rear seat removed?

I would use a Stud Welder
This tool can make short work of pulling a dent out of your steel body panels (not aluminum). Sand the paint off down to bare metal. Put a copper plated nail (the stud) into the collet, place firmly against the panel for good electrical contact, pull the trigger for half a ...

Re: Tech II

Few things:...but not all...

You can change settings in your Body Control Module....like change the delayed chime for your locks.

You can change the way your rack and pinion handles the road...Magna Steer...3 settings I believe

Or even have all your interior and exterior lights come on and stay ...

Re: Looking to buy a '96 SSEi, advice?

Coming from a person who owns a 96 SSEi,

Save your money and buy a 97 SSEi.

The 97 SSEi's have better transmissions and are easier to mod when your ready to do that.

Not that you can't mod a 96, I have, just more support for a 97 and newer Bonneville.

a badly plugged fuel filter would make the transmission act up as you described.

when was the last time you had yours changed?
