Fuel pump gone bad?

No problems from car - suddenly went out to leave (Came home from work earlier with no problems) tried to crank and it stalled, kept trying and it continued to stall. Acts like it is starving for fuel. Hubby looked at it = believes it is the fuel pump. Someone else tells me this is not common ...

Re: AC Pulley

I had a similar situation - pulley went out. Question I have is - it has a locking nut and I have been everywhere to find this nut. We used the old one but I am concerned that it will need to be replaced eventually. I believe it is a 13mm locking nut- Auto Zone has no part number for it. Any ideas ...

Re: New- with lots of little issues.

Dont know how to fix it but I can commiserate! My back passenger window can only go down about 3 inches when it starts to sound like metal on glass. But I live in Georgia where we have 3 months of winter/fall, 6 months of summer and 3 months of hell. Air conditioning runs 9 months out of the year ...

Re: Anti lock brake dash light and traction control light?

Mine is same way - abs and brake light on, trac light shows off

Shop told me $800 for them to replace - not happening

but it also means no abs - which I learned to drive without, and have only actually used ABS once and I thought the car was possessed (it was a rental up in New Jersey)

Re: Hello from Georgia

@ JRS 3800

Did you resolve the trunk issue? I was told by a shop that the problem with the ABS/Brake was a sensor but I cant remember what it was called

Going to check out the techinfo like 000Beast suggested - I have considered using some silicone

Re: Ready to run away from this car screaming

my abs light and brake light stay on ( and trac is perpetually off) but the shop near me told me it was a sensor ( I was told $800 to change but on here I have been told I can get it much cheaper than that!!) my shop told me that it does not make it unsafe but it means I do not have abs so it is ...
