To close this out, I found the problem. Coincidentally, both connections had the same problem but are unrelated.
When I pulled the window motor out, I took it apart, inspected everything, greased a few things, put it back together. Started working again, then stopped. So, on a whim, I put my finger ...

Re: Electrical Gremlin hiding somewhere...
1) Does 00+ have a blower control module that is more or less a resistor?
Have you checked out the common grounds?
Yes and yes.
The blower control module I replace with is used... maybe I should try new. It worked good for a while though. Still works, just makes the wires hot between the ...

Electrical Gremlin hiding somewhere...
I just wanted to check here before I replace parts I've already replaced.
Issue #1: Blower motor wires getting hot
This starts to result in actually melting the housing of the wire and opening the socket so that the blower starts to cut in and out. So far I've replaced the blower motor twice and ...

Re: 99 SSEi stumbling under load
Howdy.
Did you ever find out what the issue was? Mine's doing the same thing and I've replaced every vacuum line and sensor in this sucker.
Thanks.

Looks shiney.
Correct me if this has been updated/changed, but isn't a polished SC housing a bad idea? Doesn't dissipate heat as well...

Thanks for referring me to this post. I assume that the Phillips X-Treme Power 9006 +80's are "plug'n'play"? I'm disabled now and really can't do custom work anymore...

Re: Replacing seat covers, can't remove the *&%#@ airbag cov
The heat elements are built into the covers. You won't be able to see them, except for the wires coming out.
Oh, wow...ok. Not sure what I was thinking when I bought these replacement ones, then... Hmmm... I'm sure you told me they were not heated.

Re: Replacing seat covers, can't remove the *&%#@ airbag cov
Its not an airbag cover, its the whole assembly. You have to remove the whole thing. There are 2 - 10mm nuts that you access through the zipper on the back of the seat. You will angle the rear of it out, and then a push in retainer holds the rest of it in. Pull it out.
Alright, thanks. I'll know ...

Replacing seat covers, can't remove the *&%#@ airbag cover
So, what's the secret? I've pulled it back some and can see what looks like tabs, but they don't move or disengage when I press on them. I'd really rather not break any tabs...
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yep, it's aluminum.
Does the Intense set include the injector o-rings and sleeves, and updated bolts, etc that the Fel-Pro kit does?

Re: Stainless steel LIM gasket??
I'd probably go with the chrome plated brass gaskets. (kidding)
Who did you call? If it was the dealer, he just meant the aluminum ones. If a parts store told you SS, then I have no idea what he meant. The aluminum ones are a GM part only.
I called my usual trusty local AutoZone. :P

Stainless steel LIM gasket??
I'm getting geared up to change out my LIM gasket. I called around and it seems that there were two options: the nylon gasket that we know sucks, and a stainless steel one? Did the guy just not know what he was talking about, or do I need to go somewhere special for the aluminum ones? Or will ...

Thanks i do like the 1.9 rocker idea.... I hear their expensive. I know a muffer wont do anything haha, im not a civic owner ;) i want the sound, just a nice groan. The other things i suggested are easy ways to cheat a 3400 SFI into more power, so i was just curious if it will work on the 3.8 ...
