L26/L36 UIM
I know some good knowledge on flow and modding of L36/L26 parts have come out of here in the past.
If someone removes the intake runners in a L36/L26 and puts in a ZZP HV3, has anyone seen improvement by removing the ribs in the top of the UIM (that helped hold old runners and possibly guide air ...

Re: LIM gasket job on the '99, (Heads up for FEL PRO GASKE
Interesting experience with the Fel Pro gaskets. Over this past spring I used a set of those on my Monte when I was installing a port matching LIM. I drove the car from spring until I winterized it in October with no signs of any issues.

Re: guess why this SSEi was totalled
Looks like the driver side rocker panel ground fx is half missing and the exposed rocket panel is hard to see in the pic, but looks messed up.
My guess, high miles, something damaged the underside of the driver side (around the rocker panel) that jeopardized the integrity of the body. Maybe a ...

second that.
Could hook a scan tool up while the MAF is disconnected and see what it says.... But I am surprised that it's not getting any MAF data and is not tripping a light....

Re: Uh oh
I read through this entire thread. Moral of the story, pop the belt driving your water pump and you need to really evaluate how you're getting the car home.
I got my Grand Am safely home from work a couple years ago with a cracked side tank on the radiator, losing fluid pretty good on a 20 mile ...

So far I've only done one transaction for a leather wrapped shift knob. But despite this one small transaction, service was TOP NOTCH!
Is my communication fast? Yes! Extremely!

I've never seen sleared tails! That looks sharp! I'd love to see that on a black Bonnie! Bet that also looks killer!

Re: rattling in my exhaust
My Monte had a problem with the resenator (more then once). I don't know if the Bonnies have them. If they do, Willwren gave you the best advice (he was referencing a CAT, but same idea applies). I got the Monte in the air and with the palm of my hand slapped the parts of the exhaust concluding with ...

Small Monte Carlo Interior Changes
So, when I bought my blue and silver Monte, I was really after an '03 Pace Car (I love the blue and silver, the high sport package and a slightly custom/unique two-tone interior).
I was not able to find an '03 Monte Pace Car I could afford, but I'm VERY happy with the Monte I ended with. Though, I ...

Nice photoshoot! That was awesome of them to let you stage that (and move some cars for you). I like the window stickers and the poster in the window. Well done!

Re: Water Leak in Front Footwells
I know the w-bodies (like my Monte and my wife's Impala) have a fault under the cowl. The original diverter strip falls off and allows rain water to dump in through the fresh air intake. My Monte just got wet carpets because if that. Fix is a new piece from the GM Dealer ($4), took less then 10 ...

Help - '04 Monte w/ L36 - P0171 and P0131
OK, first item on the table, I recently modded the Monte Carlo. It has been under cover and has not been ran since last October and I installed the mods about 2-3 weeks ago. I wish I would have driven the car recently pre-modded to know if this was a condition that happened while being stored for ...
