Re: Does your state have inspection?

No emissions testing here in FL..

Fl DID have about 7 yrs or so ago.Prob was it was only in about 1/2
counties or so.A good mechanic on older cars could still get them through
anyway. Cops do an occasional safety inspection on road way Read excuse to stop and check for license and insurance and ...

Fuel guage help! please!

On my '97 Bonnie. My gas guage has never read more than 1/2
full when it is full. Seems to only read when key is off. When
I start the car,the guage swings toward full then reads empty.
Is this the sending unit or electrical? :angry4:

Lost my cruise a while back. Someone said the reverse lights not working

Re: Interchange trannies

the '96 has 15' wheels stock. I guess meaning the ratio is different. My '97 was running
16's. I checked last night. No reverse. Only low gear. No other higher gears. It is making a noise when in idle, but is almost. Non existanent in gear. Fluid seems good. Over full though.

Interchange trannies

If I'm correct '97 Bonnies have 4t65e. Do '96's? If not can they still be swaped? What are the diffs between the 2? Where is the best place for diagnosing these problems? My '96 has first,no reverse or other gears (supposedly) Going to verify tommorow. Makes a noise in gear, but quiets to almost ...

I'm about to swap trannies to my '96 SE.I was told on higher mileage trannies not to change the fluid. If its working leave it alone.I had this happen on my '89 Reliant where I changed the fluid it quit running about a month later. Now. My friend who is more familar with trannies says is this is ...
