On my '97 Bonnie. My gas guage has never read more than 1/2
full when it is full. Seems to only read when key is off. When
I start the car,the guage swings toward full then reads empty.
Is this the sending unit or electrical?

the '96 has 15' wheels stock. I guess meaning the ratio is different. My '97 was running
16's. I checked last night. No reverse. Only low gear. No other higher gears. It is making a noise when in idle, but is almost. Non existanent in gear. Fluid seems good. Over full though.

If I'm correct '97 Bonnies have 4t65e. Do '96's? If not can they still be swaped? What are the diffs between the 2? Where is the best place for diagnosing these problems? Yes my '96 only has 1st no other fwd gears or reverse.
My '97 does 214k+ mi. I know it proably needs a rebuild,
but no shift probs or leaks. Also no funds avail. w/ holidays.
