the knocking is coming from the drivers side of the engine. and to me it sounds like a light rod knock. as far as metal in the engine oil, when i first heard the knock i changed the oil and didn't see any metal in it. i put Castrol Edge Syntec 10W-30 and a distance plus filter. i hoped this would ...

Ok so i rebuilt the top end from the head gaskets up. New head and intake gaskets, valve seals, injector seals, ETC.. the whole top end. i even did a quick valve grind just so i knew everything was sealing tight. got everything back together and drove it for roughly 500-600 miles no problems. the ...

mine was doing something similar try unpluging the MAF sensor, then try starting the vehical, if it starts then you need a MAF sensor.
thats what mine was. if so get one or two from a junk yard. Buy One Get One or something :dontknow: :) They are way cheaper at the yard than the auto parts store.

Looking for a couple pointers and maybe some personal experience or other problems anyone has encounter while replacing UIM, LIM, and possiblly head gaskets. car has just under 200k. basicaly im pretty sure these need replaced. car was leaking air and antifreeze out the injector seals. any help ...

Unplugged MAF sensor and it started then when i plugged it back in while the car was running, the idle changed and it eventually died. is my MAF sensor bad??

sorry for not being so clear i have driver side heat but not passenger heat. i can change the temp on the pass. side but it is always cold no matter if it is at 70 or 90 its always cold. the driver side controls work fine though. that and i havent noticed anything blinking on the climate controls. i ...

mine was doing the same i was reading somewhere that the waste spark could be the cause check your spark plugs i found one in my bonnie that had a crack in the porciline soon as i changed my plugs it helped a bunch it doesnt do it at all anymore.

heat works great all the way up to 90*F. but its only in the drivers seat. the passenger and rear all blow cold air is my door stuck......????
