Just wanted to post an "interesting" issue I had recently with my oil pressure gauge.
About a month ago, I went out to the garage and noticed a large coolant puddle underneath the car. "Great." I thought. "Now my water pump has gone to crap." I said to myself. Nope. Further inspection revealed that ...

Re: Bad PCS? Transmission Slipping
Well...it did. But the trans decided to take a dump on me. Hopefully its good as new, I'm picking it up tomorrow. It better be, since the trans cost me as much as I paid for the dang car.

Bad PCS? Transmission Slipping
Well, crap
So, after I got out of work today I went and got groceries, hopped in the car, got to the intersection and took off. I got on it - but not full throttle - and something went bang. When I got to the next intersection the trans did not want take off, shuddered and when I slowly let off the ...

Re: Super Bass (roof rattle)
Windows open or closed seems to make no difference, aside from what I mentioned earlier when the sunroof is open, it gets worse. I think the struts are ok, I do know that my front drivers side wheel bearing is slowly on its way out. When I jacked the car up last I could wiggle the wheel ever so ...

Super Bass (roof rattle)
So I have a strange issue on my SSEi. At speeds varying between 30-35 mph, my headliner and roof vibrate, causing an obnoxiously loud bass sound in the cabin. It really does sound like I have a couple of 15's bumping in the trunk. The vibrations essentially turn the headliner into a giant speaker ...

Re: Calling the fuel trim gods - STFT vs. LTFT
The PCV looked original to the car... I'm thinking the O2 sensors are likely original to the car as well. MAF has a reman sticker on it but the data I get from it appears normal. I did clean it with the appropriate cleaner as well. I will have to crawl under there this weekend and look at the O2s ...

Calling the fuel trim gods - STFT vs. LTFT
Hey guys, first time poster here
I was wondering if anybody could tell me more about some strange things going on with my fuel trims on my 2000 SSEi. Car in question is totally stock with 133k on it. I've just recently bought it and have been going through it slowly with a fine tooth comb. The only ...
