Ive got a 96 ram 1500 and it some times had a very hard 2nd to 3rd shift, AAMCO wanted 1700$ to rebuild it.
Id tried trans tune before and it shifted fine so ive used it 2 times since and its doing fine.
Im going to replace the fluid and filter, I think whoever had it before me didnt use ATF+4 fluid ...

What years 3800 motors should I be concerned about on the upper and lower intake gaskets. Looking at a nice 2002

On our 97 I just "unclipped" the fuse block from the panel.
Also on ours the cause of the upper nutserts coming detatched was the lower bolts by the flywall where they screw into the column broke.
Not the bolts but the casting on the column broke.
Went to the pick and pull and the column I bought ...

On ours it was the rubber cover on the gear shift release button was bunched up or whatever. It was stopping it from fully releasing.
I just took ours off. Although our motor would shut off I couldn't get the key out.

Would have never guessed..great advice.

A wire from the battery through a fuse to a toggle switch inside the car back out to the hot side of blower.
I got a fusible link from autozone.

Or from a fuse on the side that doesn't have power with the key off,toggle switch,wire to the blower moter.

I replaced the fan with new one and still have the same problem of it shutting off. Can someone please tell me where to find the relay for the blower. If this does not stop problem then I think control switch may have to be replaced.
