I had this exact issue. It is the "door actuator switch".
It was intermittent also.
Sometimes I would have to re-shut the door to get the radio off.
Part was $240 but luckily i still had my extended warranty
$20 for the part you need.
Can someone post the part number of this "door actuator ...

Re: GM Redesign of Strut Mount Bearing
One of my Moog mounts broke and the strut shaft was hitting the hood the day after I drove on a reply bumpy dirt road.

Transmission cooler line connectors
My transmission cooler lines are starting to leak at the flex-to-rigid joint so it's time for new lines. The car is a 2004 but I should be subscribing to 2003 car's connectors because I figured out that I have a 1/4-18 return fitting(transmission side, screws parallel to ground) when I had to ...

How can I turn up my trans line pressure? Slip/catch? CT
I have a 2004 H-body Lesabre(similar to Bonneville), with 90k miles. I have had a shift kit on it for the last couple years which made a huge difference in the 4T65E slow shifting, but it is still a little slow and would benefit from a slight bump in line pressure. How do I go about changing line ...

2004 reverse shift stall TSB 01835, carcomplaints.com?
My 2004 car occassionally stalls when I shift from drive to reverse when warm or partially warm. Has anyone heard of this problem?
I found information on it on a gmforum thread here https://www.gmforum.com/2000-2005-90/2004-sle-stalls-shifting-into-reverse-246316/

Re: Any undesired effects with a transmission cooler?
I was going to use an oil by pass thermostat. The one I want has 4 ports, would flow oil to the aux cooler at 165F. I would have the stock radiator in series with the aux cooler because it helps warm the fluid.
I ask about shifting because I read on a forum on a different model rwd type tranny that ...

Any undesired effects with a transmission cooler?
I am planning on adding an aux transmission cooler along with a remote oil thermostat, and an aux filter. All that inline with the stock cooler/radiator.
Adding all that will add considerable length to the cooler circuit. I was also considering going up to -8an oil lines from 6 if there is any ...

Re: Drain coolant before removing upper intake plenum?
Yea it did come out of there but it's not enough to drip on the floor. While the plenum was off for hours it did continually seep out the too ports you circled in the lower intake which made a puddle run on the floor. Not sure why, maybe gravity or maybe it was heating up in the garage causing the ...

Re: Front wheel grinding sound + brake light
The brakes are fine because they looked almost new when I bought the car at 50k miles and I've driven it 30k. The groaning or whining sound is taking a left turn fast enough which puts enough force on the right wheel. It seems like a wheel bearing to me, but I've never dealt with an issue like this ...

Front wheel grinding sound + brake light
A couple things with my car.. 2004 with 80k miles.
It recently starting having a grinding/whining sort of sound from the right front wheel when taking a sharp left turn.
Also recently, the brake warning light comes on every time I drive the car. It's the light that turns on when you set the parking ...

Re: Rear brakes - help me decide
I went with Wagner rotors and thermoquiet semi-metallic pads for my rear brakes. Been driving several thousand miles, they are working fine. I'm sure ceramic would be better but I just stuck with how the car comes from the factory.

Rear brakes - help me decide
Hey,
I have owned my 2004 buick lesabre (H-body)(hoping bonneville owners can chime in) for a year now and put 10k miles on it so far. The previous owner had just put new pads and rotors on the front. I think they are OEM ACDelco because of how smooth they feel and I think they had their work done ...

Re: Cooler return line fitting on my 2004
Been a while but as original poster thought I'd check back in to share what I did.
It turns out the threads on my transmission for the return line are 1/4-18 and I bought a 3/8-18 fitting. I chose the 3/8-18 because my car is a 2004, because 2004 and up used 3/8-18, but really they were using 1/4 ...

Re: SUSPENSION - Time to Replace Struts/Shocks. Springs?
Do you know your auto-leveling system works? It should test run between 17-35 seconds after startup. It should also run the compressor when the car sags an inch to raise it back up. I recently replaced my rear air shocks at 60k. The right one was leaking really bad and so the right side of the car ...

Rear camber plate question on bon/lesabre H-body?
Hi guys,
I just put new KYB struts and rear auto leveling air shocks on my 2004 Buick Lesabre. Handling is great they are very stiff. Got an alignment afterwards, please see the image. I plan on adding those rectangular metal camber plates on the rear to correct the camber as both tires are at -0.9 ...

Re: GM Redesign of Strut Mount Bearing
Installed the struts this past weekend using the Moog K160213 and it all went together just fine. It is definitely the new design.
I gotta say the KYB struts and rear shocks are quite a bit stiffer on the compression damping compared to stock and the car is much more planted. Car feels great.

Re: No rear alignment adjustment on Lesabre!
My track bar is definitely not adjustable. GM parts direct lists it in this link: http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/auto-parts/2004/buick/lesabre/limited-trim/3-8l-v6-gas-engine/rear-suspension-cat/rear-suspension-scat on two diagrams, one says adjustable and one does not, but contrary to that, they both ...
