i found it back in 04 when i had my 97 se..i wanted to do a supercharger swap and read the techinfo article on how much of a PITA that is. After i was done crying i joined...and learned alot about my car..and went on to enjoy my SE as it was..

Tranny Problem with my 02 SSEi
I'm having a problem with my tranny and i've been chasing it for a month now. Everything is fine up until about 45 MPH...then if light throttle or the cruise is engaged, the car bucks back and forth until about 50ish then it's fine...i can apply more gas and it goes away. Any ideas? Am i the victim ...

Re: Only Pics till Friday
MN winters sure will be a shock to you though. Be sure your car's maintenance (especially battery and alternator) is up to date, and be sure you have warm clothes, jumper cables, an ice brush/scraper and some kind of flashlight in the car.
I got it all covered. I'm actually looking forward to it ...

Re: I got ahead of myself
and btw thanks for all the help. I'm still new to this whole modding thing and i jumped the gun and went straight to the 3.4. Lesson learned. Once finances are straightened out and all i'll come back to modding this car.

Re: I got ahead of myself
ok..i'm gonna go with a 3.6 and see what happens...can i use the stock size belt with it? I don't see the 3.6 listed on the intense website as needing a smaller belt.

Re: I got ahead of myself
You are going to have less KR in winter than summer. If you have 5° in winter, you will have 10° in summer. Deal with it now.
funny you say that because i scanned the car in June using a Tech 2 and only saw 1* when the car shifted...nothing at WOT...think it might be something else? should go ...

Re: I got ahead of myself
true..all cars are different...i might just take the car back to stock completly and deal with it in the spring.00Beast wrote:It all depends. Every car is different. You'll have less KR, that's a fact.
