Greetings! Out 95 Bonneville SE has pretty bad rust on drivers side cradle outside bushing.... The cradle is fine and the bushing is fine but over half the body metal the bushing/cradle attaches to is gone from rust. Anyone had any luck repairing this problem short of welding in all new metal?

Greetings! Anyone replaced struts and/or springs lately with good results? What combo did you use? Looks like my 2000 SLE needs struts after using AC Delco replacement struts nearly 4 years ago along with my original coil springs. The car has 221k so it may be time for springs too.

Thanks for help thus far...trying this myself....got the new grooved pulley put on and new belt ready to be installed....I'm confused on how to release tension (smooth pulley) so that I can get the belt on?

Found some info.....looks like it is the "grooved idler pulley" that has failed....I should be able to drive it to a shop shouldn't I?

Update: After changing oil to 10w40 and driving it some over last couple weeks the oil pressure gauge still drops into the red and chims go off once car is warmed up. I have listened to motor (at idle) when this happens and hear no engine noise. I really didn't want to purchase a mechanical pressure ...
