If you PM me the vin, I can check to see what part number came with the car, so you can verify the radio is the right one for the car. Thats about all i can do to help, lol.

I've been trying to wrap my mind around that answer for over a month, but haven't done anything about my bonne yet. I'm having a very similar issue.

Mine did something similar the other day, where it shook violently during idle/park, and took forever to get any acceleration. I changed a coil pack, because it was not sparking, then two weeks later, had to change the ICM, which was causing the non-spark.

Is the CEL flashing?

I was thinking that, there's a place around here called "upullrparts", they have a 01 bonne there, but knowing my luck, that one would be stripped down already.. so just to make sure, as long as the car has the same 3800 engine, the ICM is the same, right? 00-05 Impala/Monte Carlo, and a few buicks ...

Just tried that actually, moved the top (non-sparking) coil to the middle, and the middle to the top, and the top is still not sparking, so I think it's ICM.

Two weeks ago, I left work and my bonne started to run real rough, and turned out to be a bad coil pack. So my brother and I replaced the coil pack and the front plugs/wires(haven't done the back yet, hard to reach ...

I have a 2003 SE model, nothing spectacular like everyone else here, but it's a good car.

I have a question. When I use the cruise control, everything works fine, and it holds steady, but no indication of whether it's on or not. My wife has a 2009 G6, my dad a 2003 Silverado, and my brother a 2003 ...

Did this require programming? I've been confused by these units, because a Buick Lesabre radio will fit in and work without programming, but they're from 1996-2000, but with the same dock-n-lock connector.

That's cool but what happens when you want to play a CD?

CD Works just as normal. I haven't tried it, but I think if I play a CD and connect my iphone at the same time, it would give both audios. Or end existence as we know it, I'm not quite sure lol. I'll try it tomorrow.

I know I had a thread a while back asking for instructions for installing an AUX on a 2003 Bonne, but I finally figured it out, and figured I would share the info.

I saw mods that had other features, cars with XM could mod for AUX, cars with tape players could mod for AUX, but nothing ...

No XM, no CDX.

Do you have a link to that writeup? I saw one for a post-2000 era radio, but nothing for the newer ones.

Any idea how to pull this off via the CD portion of the radio? My HU doesn't have the cassette, only CD.
