Cruise Control Question

Post by lilstrom13 »

I have a 2003 SE model, nothing spectacular like everyone else here, but it's a good car.

I have a question. When I use the cruise control, everything works fine, and it holds steady, but no indication of whether it's on or not. My wife has a 2009 G6, my dad a 2003 Silverado, and my brother a 2003 Buick Century, and they all have the green cruise control light when it's engaged. I'm wondering if I have a light out, or is there just no light to indicate it is activated?

Thanks.

There is no light to tell you if it is on or not.

Weirdly, there is no light provided. And furthermore, you can't disengage the CC without either hitting the brake or switching it off entirely. Both odd things about these cars.

That's what I thought, I just wanted to make sure my dash lights weren't malfunctioning.

Thanks guys, now to deal with a coil pack problem that happened yesterday.. :(
