It's a waste of time, but would be loads of fun for a crazy person like me. But that N* doesn't have enough cubic inches for my tastes.

*I* wouldn't use a GP. *I* would use the donor SSEi I have with the 455 from the truck. More room in the H-body. It actually is only 4" shy of being a FWD 455... And yes, the truck will get done first.

There's a buick up here almost identical to yours, looks like brand new (haven't given close inspection though) for sale at a local park and sell lot, light tan color though... use that instead

No idea how much, but it catches my eye every time I drive by it (usually a couple times a week) it is only about five minutes away and from what I see of it driving by it looks like dang near zero rust at all. It is a 35 mph zone where the car is so I get a pretty good look at it every time I see it, rockers and doors look immaculate.

I will snap some pics this week of it to show you. Wouldn't be surprised if they wanted some absurd amount of money though...

Drove by it this morning and stopped to take a closer look at it. It looks like brand new, even the interior! 75,000 miles on it, they want $2,900 for it.

If you are really interested I can swing by and take more pics and also of the underside as well. I checked out the bottom and it also looked like new, only a small bit of surface rust on the rear suspension parts.

I would rather put my efforts into something else than that vintage GP...I think it would be a riot to drive though..

That LeSabre is CLEAN!! Very impressive for Michigan car! If only I can keep mine looking like this in 10 years...

I don't know that I could hack and slash apart a car that was that nice. I'd rather hack and slash something that needed it to begin with... Is it an '86 (same grille as mine) or later?

I was afraid you'd say that. Now I want it even more! I've got to save up for something else right now though and $3000 is a little much to explain away... Maybe it'll still be there for a few months.

I thought that the G-body struts were similar to the H-body stuff (for the '00-up?). I'm thinking a straight-up conversion to the f-body front frame to make it bolt on the subframe mounts would work. I'd also want to keep the 4-wheel independent suspension. I can just see it...a boosted 455 Bonneville... It would have to be painted black with red accents and a "Bring on the rice" bumper sticker!
