Year and Trim: 2000 Bonneville
My sons car is running rough. New spark plugs and wires 1 year ago. I've removed the plug wires from the center coil and find there is no spark. We replaced with new...still now spark. I've disconnected the battery to attempt to reset the PCM. What would cause the center coil not to produce spark to the wires?

I'd try another ICM (Ignition Control Module). It's the unit the coils are mounted to.
