Please help my aged eyes to locate the sender/sensor that sends temp. info to the temp. gauge in the dash panel of a 93 SE. I've looked in several likely spots and still don't see it. I'm hoping it's not tucked away in some place that's a nightmare to get at ! Thanks for any help ! I did do several searches here for the answer, without any success.

There are two, one hiding under the TB, and one hiding behind it. One of those two is for the gauge, one for the PCM. I think a scan tool with live data will help by showing you if the PCM temp is different than the gauge temp.

Thank you myfirstbonnie !! Cleaning and some limited rinsing of the engine has caused my temp. gauge to stop showing anything and I'm afraid to run it in case the fans are disabled also. It figures that something so simple..... would have to be hidden under or behind something else!

I had to replace both of those on my 92, niether was working. ones behind the intake near a fuel injector towards the drivers side, and the other is directly under the throttle body, but not hard to replace. Both sensors are pretty cheap so not a bad investment.
