I have just bought a '98 SSE with grey leather interior. The front seats are really worn out. I'm looking for another set to do a swap. Barring that I thought I would ask if anyone knows of other vehicles that the seats would be a pretty straight forward swap. I've learned in this forum that all the '92-99 Bonneville seats should swap out. What I'm wondering is if seats out of other makes (especially any GM brand) will also fit. Did I ask that right??

Was hoping someone knew the answer to this. Maybe if I ask a more specific question; would the front seats out of an '03 fit onto the '98's mountings?

I don't believe the newer seats swap. Otherwise I think 00+ owners would have swapped in the 92-99 seats. Many say the older seats are better. 92-99 Bonneville seats have been popular swaps into lots of other cars, even if they have to make custom mounts/tracks. Other 92-99 H-body, 90's era Caprice/related cars, and probably C-bodies (Park Ave's, 98's) will bolt up.
