My 2002 Bonneville is having an issue with the rear windows. The other day they worked fine, but now they will not go down with either the drivers switches or the back switches. I did make sure the lock was off. I'm far away from home, where I have all my information, so can someone help me out and let me know where I would find the fuse for the rear windows? I need to know which fuse it is and if there's more than one. I looked in the fuse block under the hood but couldn't tell which one it would be. If there's an idea of it being something else other than a fuse please feel free to tell me. I have 1 more day to get this fixed before I lose internet access, so any help would be greatly appreciated so I can continue on with my vacation!

      The windows and door locks data runs on a serial bus line that goes from each door module to each other. There is a splice pack under the driver seat that connects these wires. It gets wet and corrodes.
        1. Remove the driver seat bolts with a T47 Torx bit. You’ll need to remove those plastic covers. Two bolts in front, two in the back. Disconnect the wiring and remove from the car.
        2. Lift up the carpet and notice standing water, or signs of previous water.
        3. There is some wiring that runs directly under the driver seat. Remove the wire loom from that 1ft section. Carefully cut away the wire wrap from the wires to expose the wires.
        4. You’ll see 4 tan wires that look like they have black duct tape wrapped around them, cut away this wrap as well. You should find a splice pack that looks like this (complete with corrosion): http://i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv11 ... G_7787.jpg
        5. Cut out the splice pack and save it to show your friends.
        6. Cut back the 4 tan wires until it is fresh and clean. Black wiring is not good, cut back as much as necessary, it could be wicked up into that wire a few inches, or a few feet, depending on how long the problem has existed.
        7. Solder a new wire in its place. It doesn’t have to be fancy. Any gauge wire will work as long as it’s somewhat similar to the existing wire. All you are doing is reconnecting the 4 door modules so they can communicate again. Be sure to use heat shrink tubing to keep the water out. http://i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv11 ... G_7788.jpg
        8. Rewrap the area with wire wrap (electrical tape), and put the wire loom back on
        9. Reinstall the seat.
        10. FIX YOUR LEAKS! Check the links in the “Water leaks” section of this document.
      Estimated Cost: FREE, just some simple supplies and time

I am experiencing the same problem. I have a 2000 ssei. I did the data splice repair and have no leaks(the car doesn't get parked outside-I did rip the carpet out to check.) but still have no control of rear driver and passenger windows or locks from main control or individual doors. I also noticed opening these rear doors do not trigger the interior lights. I do have voltage, as I can jumper the windows to go up and down. I have also replaced the control modules with known working with no change. Also my drivers rear speaker on the Bose system isn't working. I have read the heck out the sticky notes and have fixed a variety of known issues. I didn't think each door had its own power fuse. Does anyone know where to find an actual schematic for these cars? The chilton/Hayes are too generic for these cars. Thanks!

The FSM has all the schematics you could ask for.

Each door does have its own fuse.

It's possible that you might have not repaired the data splice correctly... was it corroded when you opened it up? did you cut back the wiring until there was no black wire?
