Year and Trim: 2002 Pontiac Bonneville SLE
I have a 2002 SLE that the turn signals won't blink in the first 10 minutes of driving. The little arrow just stays lit and the lights outside stay lit as well. After about 10 minutes they blink normally. I bought a replacement flasher but cant' figure out where it's located in the car. I have checked all the bulbs and they all work fine, they just don't flash on and off! Anyone have some pictures telling me where it is located?

On the right drivers vent. The flasher module is behind the hazards button.

Haro is correct. If you have never removed this vent before, simply pull on the knobs sticking out of the vents (whats used to direct the position the vent blows) and it should slide right out. Dont be too aggressive, increase steady pressure til it starts sliding out!

So there isn't a separate flasher for the hazards? Cool, I'll give it a shot tonight.

It's all one module.

What did I buy?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013FHCDE

The flasher behind the vent is not the same as the one I bought....

Looks like a relay... but doesn't look correct.

The flasher relay module looks like this:

Standard also makes one, but appear to be out of stock everywhere: part number: HZS187

However, I do sell good used ones. I have boxes of them. PM or email me andrew.suderman@gmail.com

Thanks for the reply. I know where that switch is, and how to remove it, but is the 3 prong flasher (pictured below) inside/behind that actual switch button?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013FHCDE

When I hear the turn signal/hazard (fast) clicking, it seems to be coming from just behind the switch button. I don't want to try to crack open that switch without knowing that the flasher is inside...

corsair- "When I hear the turn signal/hazard (fast) clicking, it seems to be coming from just behind the switch button".

Typically fast/hyper flashing is due to a burned out bulb.
Have you checked the bulbs?
Did you change any bulbs to LEDs?

Here are some pics inside the flasher relay module. If you have a flasher that is flashing faster than normal it just means you have a bad bulb or LED's without resistors. Every time that I have seen a flash module die, they don't produce any flashers nor turn signals.

The switch/flasher module above is the solution to the hyper-flash or frozen flash problem. (check all 4 bulbs first if you have this problem)

This flasher seen further up in this thread does NOT exist on a 2002 Bonneville SSEI - it is nowhere to be found:
