I have a 2002 SLE with 186k miles. Mechanically the car runs great, even when the following electrical problems occur. It started bout a month ago when my climate control center started switching air output positions on its own and i was unable to change them for a couple of minutes, from vent to the defrost and footwell. Then my air bag light would go on and off periodically causing the alert tones to go off. Then my check vehicle and security lights would go the same thing periodically. My gauges will also periodically go to 0 for a second or two and then go to normal. Have also lost power to my passanger door functions which is solved by opening it, it would just stop working, not even anyone in passanger seat. Have also had cruise control discontinue speed then i can fix by just hitting resume. Today when I started my car several of the warning sensors came on and my climate controls had no power, came on after a couple minutes. I've tried disconecting the battery and letting it sit overnight, but the problems start right back up. I've heard there are several body computers that control these different functions, but I have no idea where they would be located or which one it may be. I'm sure I could find the part at a salvage yard and switch it out myself, but I need to know if anyone has experienced these problems and where i need to start to fix em.
Thanks
John

Do you have any aftermarket, AF, audio equipment?
Have you tested your battery/alt at idle, looking for shorts?

When things are spread out over that large of an area, it is often a grounding problem. Do you have a factory service manual, or access to something like AllData? It could be that all of those systems have a common grounding tie point.
