ddadler suggested the following calibration procedure to me just the other day.

It might possibly not be a neccesary step but here's the info: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=10913

would a bad sensor cause the back end of the car to jack way up? but the compressor to shut off after about 5 minutes

Yes, this is possible. Sounds like the sensor beleives more has to be done to level the car and the pump simply keeps running. My buddy who had a 92 SSE had this problem.

Keep in mind however that it may have had a lot of pressure to RE-build-up. 5 mins sounds like an aweful long time though. Are you sure it's TOO jacked up? Or might it just look that way compared to the lower position you got used to?

I replaced my sensor two weeks ago because the linkage and faceplate of the sensor broke off and I was experiencing the opposite issue you are experiencing. The pump never engaged beyond the start-up check which should last only about 5-10 seconds. I actually had to readjust the pitch of my driver seat after the fix! lol

Do you have the linkage installed as per the diagram?
